This site
This site has no forms, no cookies and no trackers. The Ara app has its own privacy policy, shown in the app before you sign up.
The former waitlist
Until October 2026, this site had a waitlist. If you joined it, we keep your email, gender, who you're looking for, year of birth, country, city and zip code, what you want people to tell you about themselves (if you answered), the language of the page, and where you came from (e.g. which ad).
Why
To email you about the launch (and, if you agreed, invite you to surveys or tests); your answers also helped us measure interest by city and choose the questions every profile must answer. Nothing else. We don't sell or share your data.
Legal basis
Your explicit consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a) and, because gender and who you're looking for can reveal your sexual orientation, art. 9(2)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time.
Where it's stored
In a database hosted by Scaleway, a French company, in Paris, France.
How long
Until launch in your area plus 12 months at most, or until you ask us to delete it.

Access, correction, deletion and withdrawal of consent: email us at the address below. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
